Eligibility Criteria – APSC CCE Recruitment 2024
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Regional Language Proficiency
The candidate should be proficient in speaking Assamese, the official language, or any tribal languages of the State.
Residentship
An applicant is required to be a native resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration
Candidates should be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.
Small Family Norms
Candidates need to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A during the C.C. (Prelim) Examination application.

Candidates should be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023.

Selection Process of APSC CCE Exam
The Combined Competitive Examination consists of two consecutive phases:
- The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- The Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)
CCE Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

- Date of Exam: 17th March 2024 (Sunday)

- Total Marks: 400 marks (200 marks each paper)

- Negative Marking: Deduction of one-fourth of the total marks assigned to a question for an incorrect answer.

CCE Main Examination (Written & Interview)
I. Written Examination

On the basis of the Main Examination results, candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:3 against the number of advertised vacancies.
