Army Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The Indian Army welcomes candidates who are:
- Citizens of India
- Subjects of Bhutan
- Subjects of Nepal
- Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India
Candidates from categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India, with the exception of Gorkha subjects of Nepal, who do not require this certificate.
Army Recruitment 2023 Age Limit
Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age on the first day of the month when the course is scheduled to begin. In other words, candidates should not be born before July 2, 2004, and after July 1, 2007.
