The State Level Recruitment Commissions (SLRC) for Class IV and Class III positions in Assam have successfully completed all stages of the Assam Direct Recruitment process. These stages include the Written Test, Interview, and Skill Test. The written examinations for Class IV and Class III positions took place in August and September 2022, while the interview and skill tests occurred from December 2022 to February 2023. This extensive recruitment drive aims to fill 25,807 Grade III and Grade IV vacancies across various government departments.

The Assam Direct Recruitment examinations for various categories of posts were conducted on different dates, as follows:

As per the latest announcement by Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah, the ADRE result for the Interview and Skill Test will be declared on the 3rd and 4th of May 2023. Therefore, the final results for Class III positions will be announced on the 3rd of May 2023 at 2 PM, and for Class IV positions, on the 4th of May 2023 at 2 PM. The official cut-off marks for the written test of the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam (ADRE) have been updated in this section. According to various sources, the distribution of ADRE appointment letters is tentatively scheduled for May 26th in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
