Position: Head Constable (General Duty) – Sports Quota 2023
Pay Scale: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) plus usual allowances.
CISF New Vacancy 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Minimum 12th pass from a recognized educational institution.
- Must have represented the State/National/International level in games, sports, or athletics.
Note: Educational certificates other than State Board/Central Board must be accompanied by Government of India notifications declaring the qualification as equivalent to 12th class pass for Central Government service.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be between 18 to 23 years as of 01/08/2023.
- Date of birth should fall between 02/08/2000 and 01/08/2005.
Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Departmental candidates).

CISF New Vacancy 2023 Application Process
- Mode of Application: Online only.
- Application Fee: Rs. 100 (UR, OBC, EWS candidates); SC/ST and female candidates are exempted.
- Document Upload: Upload a recent passport-size photograph (JPEG format, 20 KB to 50 KB) and signature (JPEG format, 10 KB to 20 KB), along with supporting documents regarding age and educational qualification (PDF format, not exceeding 1 MB).
Physical Standards
Male Candidates:
- Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned) – 167 cm
- Chest (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned) – 81-86 cm (Minimum expansion of 5 cm)
Female Candidates:
- Height (For UR, SC, EWS, and OBC candidates except those mentioned) – 153 cm
- Chest – No minimum requirement for female candidates
