NIACL Assistant Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Range: Applicants must be within 21 to 30 years as of 1st January 2024.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualifications: Candidates should hold at least a Graduation degree from a recognized university, with proficiency in English.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the State/UT is mandatory. A language proficiency test will be administered.

NIACL Assistant Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The New India Assurance Assistant Recruitment employs a comprehensive selection process, involving the following stages:

Tier I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination comprises Objective Tests totaling 100 marks and is conducted online. This stage encompasses three sections, each allocated a separate timeframe of 20 minutes:

Test of English Language: 30 marks
Test of Reasoning: 35 marks
Test of Numerical Ability: 35 marks

Exam Centres in Assam: Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, and Tezpur.

Tier II: Main Examination

The Main Examination carries a weightage of 250 marks and is anticipated to last around 2 hours. This stage comprises five sections, with 40 questions in each section:

Tier III: Regional Language Test

Candidates who clear the online Main Examination will be invited to participate in the Regional Language Test, conducted by the Company at selected centres. For candidates applying from a State/UT different from their domicile, participation and qualification in the Regional Language Test for the relevant State/UT are mandatory.

The Regional Language Test is solely for qualification purposes, and no scores will be assigned. Final ranking will be determined based on the scores obtained in the Online Main Examination, contingent upon successful completion of the Regional Language Test. To advance to subsequent recruitment stages, candidates must attain a high position in the Merit List.
