PMAY Urban Assam Recruitment 2024 Details
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban, Assam has advertised four positions in its vacancy announcement. The posts are IEC Specialist, Project Associate MIS, Project Associate Municipal Finance Expert and Project Associate Social Development Specialist. The roles/capacities have been formulated with the intention to enhance the functioning of the State Level Technical Cell under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All-Urban.

- IEC Specialist
- Number of Posts: 01
- Salary: As per the Guideline of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt of India
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent in Mass Communication/Public Relations/Journalism/Social Work/Development. Relations/Journalism/Social Work/Development.
- Preferably with 5-7 years of experience in advocacy management, particularly in urban settings.
- Familiarity with software development, project management, database management, and MIS.
- Desirable: Knowledge and experience of government systems and procedures.
- Age Limit: 29-45 Years
- Project Associate Municipal Finance Expert
- Number of Posts: 01
- Remuneration: Rs 25,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Commerce, BBA/MBA in Finance, or related subjects.
- Work for 3-5 years as a Technical Expert (Mission Mode Projects) or with similar responsibilities.
- Financial Operating Plans together with the Mission guidelines need to be prepared for the city.
- Urban Local Bodies/City level bodies will receive technical support for implementing the financial plan.
- For the preparation of policy guidance and notes on municipal finance also advise State government.
- Fluency in the local language is essential.
- Age Limit: 27-45 Years
- Project Associate Social Development Specialist
- Number of Posts: 01
- Remuneration: Rs 25,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate/Graduate degree in Social Science, BSW/MSW, Rural Development, or related subjects.
- Experience of working for 3-5 years under mission mode projects is mandatory or its equalivalent qualifications would be preferred by candidates.
- The person who holds this post must have experience in social/community development work.
- The development should have taken place mainly in urban and slums areas of operation.
- Involvement and training on participatory planning and community mobilization skills are mandatory.
- Fluency in the local language is essential.

- Project Associate MIS
- Number of Posts: 01
- Remuneration: Rs 25,000/- per month
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Applicants should have a postgraduate/graduate degree in computer science, computer application/information technology or related subjects.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in mission mode programs or its equivalent is also required.
- Candidates should have been exposed to software development and project management, database management, MIS, etc.
- Previous work experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a know-how on PFMS are highly encouraged to apply for the position.
- Fluency in the local language is essential.
