Assam’s Women and Child Development Directorate has issued a job advertisement inviting applications for three hundred and fifteen positions at different districts within the WCD Department of Assam. Apply online if you are eligible.

WCD Assam Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: As on January 1, 2022, candidates should be between the ages of 21 and 38.
- Age Relaxation: SC aspirants get a relaxation of 5 years as well as STP/STH candidates.
- Citizenship: Applicants shall be Indian Citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Resident Superintendent
- Number of Posts: Thirty-five (35)
- Requirements :Female candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Law/Social Work/Sociology/Social Science or Psychology with at least five years of experience in women-related areas within administrative set-ups notably with counseling background.
- Office Assistant
- Number of Posts: 35
- Requirements: Graduates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in office documentation, proficient in computer usage, and having worked at state or district levels with governmental or non-governmental organizations.
- Multi-purpose Staff
- Number of Posts: 70
- Requirements: People who can read and write, but have some knowledge/experience in the relevant field with a preference for high school graduates or equivalent
- Cook
- Number of Posts: 70
- Requirements: People who can read and write, but have some knowledge/experience in cooking with a preference for high school graduates or equivalent.
- Security Guard/Night Guard
- Number of Posts: 105
- Requirements: Those who possess at least 2 years of experience working as security personnel preferably ex-military and paramilitary personnel.
