Remuneration
The selected candidates will receive a competitive Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 49,000/-, including a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/-, and other applicable allowances.
Assam Veterinary Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
Educational Qualification
Applicants should have completed HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject and a one-year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized “School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry” established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.
Physical Standard
Candidates must be in sound mental and physical health, with a mandatory medical examination before appointment.
Assam Veterinary Recruitment 2024 Application Procedure
Interested candidates should submit their applications in the standard form, following part IX of the Assam Gazette. The application, along with testimonials and a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 5.00 stamp, should be sent to the Director, A.H. & Vety. Department, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-781003. Submissions can be made physically in the Drop Box at the Directorate or sent via Registered Post.
Applicants must affix one copy of a recent photograph on the provided space in the application form securely. Another copy, signed prominently by the candidate, should be enclosed along with the application. The Directorate of A.H. & Veterinary will not be responsible for any detachment or loss of the photograph.
As attested copies of certificates/mark sheets by competent authorities are no longer required, applicants should submit copies declared by themselves as true copies of the original.
