Computer Based Examination

👉 The examination will be conducted in two sessions: Session-I and Session-II, both on the same day.
👉 Both sessions are mandatory, and not attempting any session will lead to disqualification.
Type of Questions:
👉 The Computer Based Examination will consist of objective type multiple-choice questions.
Language of Examination:
👉 The examination will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages.
👉 Regional languages include Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Negative Marking:
👉 Session-I does not have negative marking.
👉 In Session-II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

Time Duration:

Normalization:

The physical Efficiency Test (PET) consists of the following test.

➢ Physical Standard Test (PST):
The following are the minimal physical requirements for the position of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN:

Height: 157.5 cms. (relaxable by 5 cms. in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)
Chest: Chest-81 cms. (fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms.)
Female Height: 152 cms. relaxable by 2.5 Cms in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)
Weight: 48 kg (relaxable by 2 Kg in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes)
