Details of the available positions are as follows:
Inspector (B) – 2 positions
Sub-Inspector (B) – 60 positions
Head Constable (B) – 70 positions
Constable (B) – 200 positions
Assam Police SI Recruitment 2023 Salary Details
Successful candidates will be placed within a pay scale as follows:
1. Inspector (B) – Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- (PB-3) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10,300/-
2. Sub-Inspector (B) – Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- (PB-2) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-
3. Head Constable (B) – Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- (PB-2) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,800/-
4. Constable (B) – Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- (PB-2) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,600/-
Additionally, other allowances will be provided as per relevant regulations.
Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Online Apply Process
To apply for these positions, interested individuals are required to submit their applications exclusively through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). The online application process will commence on September 1, 2023, and conclude on September 15, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Maximum Age: 50 years as of January 1, 2023 (Candidates must be born on or after January 1, 1973).
Educational Qualifications: HSLC or equivalent for all posts.
Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Service Qualification:
For Constable & Head Constable posts: Retired individuals with a rank ranging from Sepoy to Havildar in the Army or equivalent ranks in the Navy or Air Force.
For Sub-Inspector & Inspector posts: Retired individuals with a rank of Naib Subedar or above in the Army or equivalent ranks in the Navy or Air Force.
Note: Ex-servicemen who retired as Havildar or an equivalent rank but have served for 15 years or more can opt to apply for the Sub-Inspector position instead of Constable/Head Constable but not for both.

Applications must be submitted online through the SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in).
No other forms of application will be considered.
Applicants should follow these steps for online application:
1. Register on the portal using a valid mobile number (Note: Keep the mobile number unchanged until the recruitment process is completed).
2. After successful registration, candidates will receive a Recruitment ID. Generating multiple Recruitment IDs will result in the cancellation of candidature.

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
1. Passport size photograph

3. Relevant pages of the discharge book issued by the Defense Ministry,
4. Pension Pay Order,
5. Educational Qualification Documents,
6. Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office,
7. Certificates regarding background in Military Police, Special Forces,
