Essential Qualification
1. Registrar
Master’s degree from a reputable university or institution with a minimum GPA of 55%, or the equivalent grade of “B” on the UGC 7-point scale.
Experience:
👉 Holding analogous post.
👉 At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP (Academic Grade Pay) of ₹7,000.00 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of ₹8,000.00 and above, including experience as Associate Professor, along with 3 years of experience in educational administration.
👉 Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of higher education.
👉 15 years of administrative experience, out of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the GP (Grade Pay) of ₹7,600.00 or above.
Desirable:
👉 Educational qualification in the field of Management/Engineering/Law.
👉 Experience in computerized administration, legal matters, financial matters, and establishment matters.
2. Librarian
Master’s degree in library science, information science, or documentation with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.5 on a 10-point scale, at least 60% in class, or the equivalent grade of “B” on the UGC 7-point scale, and with the other requirements outlined in these Regulations.
Experience:
👉 Holding analogous post.
👉 At least ten years experience as a Deputy Librarian in the library of a technical university, educational institute of national importance, or any other large technical library. Out of the ten years, a minimum of three years should have been spent in a post in PB-4 (Rs. 37,400 – 67,000) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700 or an equivalent post.
👉 Experience (supported with evidence) in providing innovative library services and a commitment to the computerization of the library.
Desirable:
👉 Higher degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline directly related to Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation.
3. Assistant Registrar
Master’s degree in any field from an accredited university or institution with at least a 55% overall average, or its equivalent grade on the CGPA/UGC point system. OR Staff members holding the positions of Superintendent (SG-I)/Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2, GP of Rs. 5400/- with at least two years of regular service, or Superintendent (SG-II)/Private Secretary (NFG) in PB-2, GP of Rs. 4800/- with at least five years of regular service and a Master’s degree.
Desirable qualifications:
👉 Educational qualification in Management/Engineering/Law.
👉 Experience working in the E-Office system.
👉 Chartered or Cost Accountant for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance & Accounts).
4. Technical Officer
B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. in relevant subject or MCA Degree with first class or comparable grade (6.5 on a 10-point scale) and continuously strong academic record. OR Workers of the Institution functioning as Technical Assistant (SG II) for at least 5 years (Grade Pay 4800/-) or Technical Assistant (SG-I) with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in PB-2 with two years of regular service in the institute.
Desirable qualifications:
👉 Work experience in relevant fields, such as scientific equipment maintenance, system administration, and software development.
👉 Preference is given to candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant field, demonstrating advanced expertise and research proficiency.
5. Technical Assistant
First Class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech./MCA in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute. OR A First-Class Diploma in Engineering in a Relevant Subject with an outstanding academic record. OR a First-Class Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized university or institute. OR A Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized university or institute with at least 50% or comparable grade point average.
6. Junior Engineer
First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. OR an outstanding academic record and a First-Class Certificate in civil or electrical engineering.
7. SAS Assistant
👉 First-class bachelor’s degree in physical education from a recognized university or other institution. 👉 Proven history of involvement in extracurricular activities such as athletics, theatre, music, movies, paintings, photography, journalism, and event management while enrolled in college or a university.
8. Superintendent
👉 First Class Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, or its equivalent, from a reputable university or institute. OR a Master’s degree with at least 50% of the required marks or an equivalent grade in any discipline from an accredited university or institute. (ii) Computer application expertise, such as with word processing and spreadsheets.
9. Senior Technician
Senior secondary (10+2) Science from a government-recognized board with at least 60% marks. OR a senior secondary (10+2) exam from a government-recognized board with at least 50% marks plus a one-year or longer ITI course in an applicable trade. OR a Secondary (10) education with at least 60% marks plus a two-year ITI certificate in an applicable trade. OR a three-year diploma in engineering in a related discipline from a government-recognized Polytechnic/Institute.

10. Senior Assistant
