DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
Age Relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
- Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years
Small Family Norms
Candidates with more than two living children on or after January 1, 2021, are not eligible for appointment, in accordance with the Government’s Small Family Norms policy.
Medium of Instruction
Candidates must match the medium of instruction (Language-I or Language-II) of the school where they intend to apply.
Qualifications
Candidates with ATET/CTET qualifications are eligible.
Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Teacher (LP)
- Qualification: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Assistant Teacher (UP)
- Qualification: Graduate from a UGC-recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or B. Ed., or D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education).
- Science Teacher (UP)
- Qualification: B. Sc. from a UGC-recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or B. Ed., or D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education).
- Hindi Teacher (UP)
- Qualification: Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from a UGC-recognized University and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or B. Ed., or D. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Ed. (Special Education).
